LGA Memorial Tournament

Ladies – It’s time to begin thinking about our Memorial Tournament and Rally for the Cure.  The cover letter and Registration Form are below.  You can see full size copies by clicking on the image.  The Luncheon sign-up will be posted at a later date for those only attending the luncheon.

Remember – You DO NOT have to play in the tournament to participate in the Rally for the Cure.  Please see the attached for more details.

We also DESPERATELY need folks to help with this tournament.  Please contact myself or Bonnie Weideman if you would like to help in any way.

Please print the registration form by clicking on this link.  Complete and return with your fees.

Thanks,

Vicki Wilson

Queens Tournament Planning

We have started to go over plans for our annual Queens of the Bayou tournament.  We are happy to announce that this year’s Queen for our tournament will be Jo Burger.  Look for more to come on our tournament.  We are excited about it and already hard at work making baskets, goodies and looking for donations.  I will be asking each LGA member to serve in some capacity as a queen for the tournament.  Many have already volunteered.  Look for a sign up list on Tuesday when we hopefully return to golf.  This year’s hostesses for the tournament are Carol Elliott and myself.  We are currently looking for a home on or close to the course to hold our social on Monday evening, April 4th.  If this is something you think you might consider doing please let Carol or me know as soon as possible.

Red Tee Gaggle

Just a reminder there is a red tee gaggle on Thursdays from 9 to 9:30. If you are interested in playing be by the putting green no later than 8:45 so we can make pairings.

Wow!  What a day!  The weather was perfect, the course was pristine, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the luncheon provided by Bonney and her wonderful staff was so yummy and so beautifully presented one might think they were dining at a 5 star restaurant!!!  As if that weren’t enough…….. Rocky WON!!!  Yippee!!  It just doesn’t get much better than that, does it.  Of course, it couldn’t have happened without so many people helping.  Sharon, thank you so much for taking care of the breakfast organization.  That job is a lot more work than it appears to be.  To all the ladies who brought breakfast food – thank you.  Beth was at my side every step of the way, along with Sharon and Gloria, decorators extraordinaire – Thank you.    The bagmen who came so early and whose only reward was the leftovers and sore back muscles – Thank you.  Andy and his staff made everything run smoothly and did all the detail work – Thank you.  The “Rocky Team” made us all proud – Thank you.  I know I have probably forgotten someone,  and to you – Thank you.

The next match will be December 13th at Regatta Bay.

Here are the current standings.
