Congratulations on all the Birdies, Chip-Ins, and the Hole in One by Sandy Miller! At this rate, Sandy will have one for every Par Three and then will start on the Par Fours!

Next Tuesday, the Game is Only T’s and F’s (1/2 Handicap). We may be a smaller number due to the Cruise next week but the weather should bring out more and more ladies.

Here is the Weekly Play Report for 1/18/2011. Nice turn-out for a cold, clammy day! Next Tuesday, we will be playing Modified Stableford Format (par-3 points, bogie-2 points, double bogie-1 point, handicap determines how many points you must pull for your final game score). We will provide more instruction on how to score your cards for those of us still unsure of the rules.

If you have a Tuesday available to either come in early to set up and help with pairings or stay after the game to help decide flight winners, please sign up in our weekly calendar book. Check your personal calendars to find a Tuesday (not on a tournament day). Easy and fun!

December Doings

Ladies -

Unfortunately, we had to change the annual Member/Member Tournament to a one round event due to the cold weather today. We will be playing that tournament December 14. It is open to all LGA members, regardless of handicap. Contact Sandy Miller or Jo Burger for information.

On December 21, we will hold our Red and Green Scramble, we hope you’ll join us for this fun event! After play, we will have our annual Christmas Luncheon. ALL members of the LGA are encouraged to attend. Sign-up for the luncheon on the Ladies’ Lounge bulletin board. (Everyone needs to sign-up, even the tournament participants.)

As we will not earn any “points” for our games in December, the first half points standings are posted in the lounge. Congratulations to Jeanne Shaw, with 16.16 points, and Orean McCord, with 15.5 points - they lead the pack!
