Next Tuesday, May 11, begins our 2-day Club Championship Tournament. The tournament continues on Tuesday, May 18, and we will have our end-of-the year luncheon and awards on May 25. Sign-up sheets for both the tournament and luncheon are in the ladies’ lounge. There is no fee for the tournament, and the luncheon will be charged to your account. Don’t miss out – sign-up soon. All LGA members, both golfing and social, are welcome and encouraged to attend. Let’s make this the highlight of our season!
If May 25 is not needed as a rain-date for the tournament, your weekly play committee has planned a special round of Rocky-style “Goofy Golf!” You don’t want to miss that either!
Other events posted for registration in the clubhouse lounge at the current time are Friday’s Twilight Golf and Happy Hour Dinner, our Mother’s Day Brunch, the Mother’s Day Mixer and the Club Presidents’ Dinner scheduled for May 22. You don’t want to miss any of these events; all have limited space available.
